My journey in the dental field began in 2020 when I graduated from Minnesota Community and Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science degree and a Diploma Degree in the Dental Assisting program. I've had the privilege of working with Dr. Kumar and Dr. Derek for almost four years at a different dental office, and their commitment to providing the best care and treatment to patients is truly remarkable.
My favorite part of my job is the opportunity to make a positive impact on my patients' lives. I love seeing their smiles transform and helping to calm their anxieties about dental work. Building trust with my patients is a rewarding experience because it encourages them to maintain their oral health through regular dental visits.
Outside of work, I lead a busy life with my husband and two wonderful kids, Yousif and Lamar. We also share our home with six chickens and a lively Maltese dog named Chico. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, camping, traveling, and spending quality moments with my family. One of my passions is playing volleyball—it's a great way to unwind and stay active.

I graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College with an Associate's degree in Dental Assisting. I immediately started working as a Registered Dental Assistant and pursued my dental hygiene degree, graduating in 2021. Working with Dr. Kumar and Dr. Weigand at Peace Garden Dental has been an absolute pleasure. Both doctors exhibit a remarkable commitment to treating each and every patient with kindness, honesty, and uplifting care.
One of the aspects of my job that I cherish the most is patient education. I take pride in helping patients understand the significance of oral health and making them excited to come in for their teeth cleanings. I aim to empower everyone to maintain optimal oral health and work with them to achieve their smile goals.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my partner Dan, our dog Diesel, and our cat Lily. When the weather is warm, you'll often find us at the lake, hiking, four-wheeling, kayaking, slalom skiing, and even the occasional wake surfing. I'm also an avid traveler, and I frequently visit my siblings in Austin, Texas.

My background in the dental field is a bit unconventional; I started as a dental assistant and learned everything on the job. I take pride in continually learning and growing in my role. Working with Dr. Derek and Dr. Kumar has been a fantastic experience. Both doctors bring their unique styles and an abundance of compassion for their patients. I've had the privilege of learning from each of them, which has allowed me to better assist our patients.
The most rewarding part of my job is when I see a patient relieved that we can help them regain their smile. Patients appreciate it when we take the time to listen to their concerns and work with them rather than against them. Making office visits easier for patients helps them relax and trust in the care we provide.
I share my life with a charming cat named Remi, whom I adopted in 2019. In my free time, I love hanging out with my friends. Traveling is one of my favorite things; any time the friend group can plan a weekend trip or weeklong vacation, I’m ready for it! I haven’t been overseas, although that is on the bucket list!

As our office manager, I'm responsible for ensuring that our daily operations run smoothly. My background in the dental field started with education as a dental hygienist, and I later transitioned into the administrative aspect of a dental practice. One of the reasons I love working with our doctors and the rest of the team at Peace Garden Dental is because of the shared dedication and enthusiasm we all bring to our work. Everyone works hard and genuinely enjoys what they do, making our workplace an environment where we can deliver the best possible care to our patients.
Patient care is the heartbeat of my job, and it's what I love most about it. Making sure our patients receive the best experience from the moment they walk through our doors is incredibly fulfilling.
I have a husband named Jon, who is a talented chef. We are proud parents to two wonderful children, Atlas, who is two years old, and Ember, who is just six months. Our family is completed by two lovely dogs. During the summer, you'll often find us at the lake, enjoying the outdoors, and trying out new restaurants.
